Ear-ridology Vs. Eye-ridology

Although the word iris is pronounced differently in other parts of the world… the correct pronunciation in the English dictionary is (eye) iridology. Except for those countries where (eye) ris is pronounced (ear) ris, those that are educated correctly will know how to pronounce (eye) ridology properly.

Therefore, professional (eye) ridologists refer to those without the proper training or accreditation as (ear) ridologist.  So, if you hear someone say they are an (ear) ridologist you distinguish immediately that they are not a legit (eye) ridologist.

Distinguishable Characteristics of the
(Eye) ridologist:

The (eye) ridologist has been educated and trained by instructors who have been accredited by sanctioned schools and/or organizations. This formal training requires that students acquire an in-depth understanding of the history of Iridology, the anatomy and physiology of the eye, as well as comprehensive knowledge for proper mapping of the eye, and the analytical meanings of various patterns, colors, and tissue level combinations.

Such formal training is extremely important in equipping the true Iridologist with the ability to correctly interpret the appearance of the iris to gain an understanding and analyze potential issues relating to physical, mental, and emotional health of an individual.

Below are the major characteristics associated with the professionally certified and accredited (eye) ridologists:

  • Participate in continued education to retain their knowledge and skills with the current teachings, clinical studies and research (a minimumof 20 continuing education credits per year).
  • Uphold the highest of ethical, professional, and moral standards.
  • Practice with empathy and integrity to do the right thing.
  • Are members of an organization that holds them accountable and recognizes their credentials. Such organizations are the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA), the International College of Iridology (ICI) and the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologist International.
  • Continue to practice and advance their skills and knowledge.
  • Do not diagnose.

In order for (eye) ridologist students to become accredited and certified (Eye) ridologists, there are extensive hours of training and testing involved, and that is ultimately what sets the (eye) ridologist apart from the (ear) ridologist.

Notable Traits of the
(Ear) ridologist:

In contrast, training for the (ear) ridologist is vastly lacking. But how will you know? One question you can ask that will help you to distinguish between an (eye) ridologist and an (ear) ridologist is, “Where did you get your training?” If their answer includes sitting around the living room learning to differentiate what products go with which markings and colors … they are an (ear) ridologist. Thus, in your own best interest… make a run for it.

Believe it or not, some (ear) ridologist have even purchased their “diplomas” online without any training whatsoever. Really?!?

Another question you can ask is, “What can you see in my eyes?” If they claim to be able to cure or treat your condition or if they proclaim to see illness, disease, parasites, and even tumors … again, you are interacting with an (ear) ridologist … escape while you can!

The cure of many diseases is unknown to physicians… because they are ignorant of the whole. For the part can never be well unless the whole is well.

Faulty Actions of the
(Ear) ridologist

(Ear) ridologists are not ethical or sensitive to those who are unfortunate enough to be introduced to them when seeking answers.  What’s most distressing is the affliction one endures based on what was improperly “diagnosed” or “told” to them. These victims then become fearful, confused, and uncertain. Further, due to their lack of understanding, vulnerability and naivety, these victims may end up giving away their power to the unethical (ear) ridologist who manipulated them with false knowledge.

What is even worse, there are (ear) ridologists who purposely mislead their victims into thinking that what they are doing to get better is working (or not) based on the equipment, lighting and technology to create photos that have been altered to indicate false changes in the iris.  This type of practice is crude, malicious and absurd.

Additionally, these mislead individuals/victims are the ones who, through anger and frustration go out in the world speaking against iridology. Ultimately, this creates the challenges that (eye) ridologists and their supporting organizations must face daily and work diligently to undo the damage created by these deceitful amateurs, otherwise known as the (ear) ridologists. It’s no wonder that our culture and our country question this modality.

Furthermore, occurrences such as these are used by our governing body to determine what is acceptable in the health industry and unfortunately, these government officials take advantage of the negativity and use it as a way to manipulate society into thinking that true Iridology is a fraud.

Iridology Is Real and It Works

Bottom line, Iridology is a 3000-year-old practice and it works! The Iridology organizations, such as IIPA (International Iridology Practitioners Association), the International College of Iridology (ICI) and the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologist International and its members, continue to persist and persevere to gain recognition and acceptance of this practice, especially in North America.

Sadly, in this country, Iridology is not approved or acknowledged because the medical profession and its colleagues reject all claims of all branches of Iridology.  The medical professionals do not recognize it, do not practice it, and consider it a pseudoscience or even quackery. Yet, in other countries such as Germany, Russia, China, England, Mexico, France, Brazil and Australia, Iridology is a licensed profession and is even practiced by some medical doctors.

Fortunately, because it is recognized in other countries, it creates opportunities for (eye) ridology organizations to become the gateway and act as protectors as a way to ensure that every (eye) ridologist is properly trained with the highest of standards in education and discoveries.

These organizations and respective members are united to promote excellence internationally and are strong advocates in upholding ethics and integrity.  Not only do these organizations set out to increase recognition, they also strive to disintegrate the fear-based knowledge concerning the art and science of (eye) ridology and fuels their mission to separate the true (eye) ridologists from those who are not.

Why Is Iridology Rejected?

So, the question is, why is Iridology so feared in this country when thousands of professionals, clients, and practitioners in over ½ of the world accept, value and recognize Iridology as a legitimate practice … they cannot all be wrong.  Alas, the reality is this single question could prompt a multitude of answers, depending on who is responding.

However, many authority figures and lawmakers are quite resistant to the natural approaches when addressing any physical, emotional, or mental issue. This is likely due to the fact that if something can’t be patented, bottled, and strictly controlled monetarily, they are largely opposed.

Conversely, this is not new. Since the 19thcentury, when medical science moved away from the Hippocratic theory and into the laboratory, when microscopes made it possible for scientists to study bacteria such as tuberculosis and cholera; which eventually prompted the creation of antibiotics and painkillers. Regardless if these medications cured the illness or not, it did something for the patient, which began the onset of our band aid system, or rather, the reluctance to treat the whole person and focus on addressing the symptoms instead; which is still prevalent in the medical professions of today.

Through the centuries’, there have been several movements against these orthodox medical practices, primarily from proponents committed to the natural and alternative approaches as a way of ridding the body of sickness and pain. There are accounts throughout history of medical professionals using alternative methods successfully yet being stopped.

Moreover, time and again, history has shown us that the natural approach used by ancient cultures around the world provides the foundation that we should ultimately embrace in regards to the health of our loved ones and ourselves. Thus, using nutrition and instruction provided by reliable knowledge from such experts as the true professional Iridologist.

Fortunately, with organizations such as the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA), the International College of Iridology (ICI) and the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologist International along with the true professional Iridologists that are devoted to spreading the word and works of Holistic health, more and more individuals are empowered with safer options that can sincerely help improve their health and quality of life.
